NCS Abuja Chapter Pays Courtesy Visit to PTDF

The Executive Committee of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Abuja Chapter, led by the Chairman, Citp. Andrew Agbo Abu, FIMC, MNCS, MCPN, paid a courtesy and working visit to the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Mr. Ahmed Galadima Aminu, at the PTDF Headquarters, Abuja.

The delegation was received on behalf of the Executive Secretary by the Head of ICT, Prof. Abdulkadir Hamidu Alkali.

The visit aimed at strengthening collaboration between NCS and PTDF in ICT capacity development, professional engagement, local content promotion, and the patronage of certified NCS professionals. The Chairman also presented the NCS “Computer for Schools” Programme, seeking PTDF’s support to expand digital inclusion within the FCT.

Prof. Alkali, a founding Chairman of the NCS Borno State Chapter, reaffirmed PTDF’s longstanding relationship with NCS and expressed commitment to renewed collaboration.

The Chairman was accompanied by members of the Executive Committee, including Victor Idonor (Assistant Secretary), Jayeoba Olusegun (Publicity Secretary), Kelvin Maurice (Director of Training), Michael Ukanna (Director of Innovation), and Vera Awoh-Akujobi (Director, Events & Mobilisation).

The meeting was described as productive and forward-looking, with both organisations aligned on advancing Nigeria’s ICT ecosystem.
