Techies' Hangout, an initiative of Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) Abuja Chapter, is an event, Physical/Online/TV/Radio Series where IT Professionals discuss trending and prospective ICT developments in relation to businesses, the national economy and youths development and bring to the table, research and actionable efforts they are putting together in resolving the issues. It also features startups mentoring and development by a way of sourcing for sponsorships and collaborations.

The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) is the umbrella organization of all Information Technology Professionals, Interest Groups and Stakeholders in Nigeria.

Formed in 1978 as Computer Association of Nigeria (COAN); and Transformed into NCS in 2002 as a result of harmonization with other stakeholder and interest groups.
